Just received the DELPH book... one of my major blocks is mentioned but there is no SOURCE as to where she found the date. pg.56 Also they talk about the dna matching the UNKNOWN MOTHER.. HOW????????????? what did they do dig her up? sorry but I am NOT a believer, has done zipo for me.

Hi--You added John Nichols and Phyllis Flynt as the parents of (my 5g grandf) John Nichols (whose will was probated 22 Apr 1774 Halifax Co, VA). I have never been able to find who my John's parents were, and HAVE seen the John and Phyllis you list. Where did you get the information? I have asked Nichols researchers FOR YEARS where that John/Phyllis cite it, and no one has been able to tell me. There were SEVERAL John Nichols in that area of VA at the time and is most confusing to sort out. Thanks for any help. In the meantime, until I have the proof of John/Phyllis, I'd like to remove them as my John's parents.

I have been working on my genealogy for the past year and have made a lot of progress on both paternal and maternal sides. I am happy to share what I have discovered. Primary recent surnames are: Ayers, Delph, Barr, Semones, Belcher, and Westmoreland with the ancestors primarily from England, Wales, Scotland, and Germany, with lots of other stuff mixed.
