Lewis was born in 1908.
Lewis Fredrick Ayer was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, on December 28, 1908,[1]to Irma and Louis Ayres, who divorced when he was four.[2]
His parents, Louis F. Ayer and Irma D. Bewernick, were married on March 7, 1908, in Minneapolis, Hennepin, Minnesota.[3]
Lew Ayers died on December 30, 1996, in Los Angeles, California.[4] His mother's maiden name was Bevernick.[1]
