Biography

Bernat Axelrad died as a result of persecution during the Holocaust.

Bernat Axelrad 1901- 1942

Bernat was born on the 4th December 1901 in Bardejov which was part of Czechoslovakia, in this time period. ^[1]

Bernat’s mother's first name was Saly and he was married to Gisela. During the war, Bernat was still a resident in Bardejov Czechoslovakia, and was recorded as murdered in the Shoah at Auschwitz camp Poland on the 21st of June 1942, for being a Jew. ^[2]

There is a memorial to remember Bernat but there is no photo. ^[3]
