Biography

Leslie Edith Dempsey Avery was born on 24 May 1907 in Motueka, Tasman, New Zealand, daughter of Charles Alexander Avery (1868–1942) and Ella Jane Delany (1869–1917).[1][2]

Her siblings were:

Leslie died on 23 March 1981 in Palmerston North, Manawatū-Whanganui, New Zealand, aged 73.[4] She was buried in Kelvin Grove Cemetery, Palmerston North, Palmerston North City, Manawatū-Whanganui.[2][5]
