Daughter of Walter J Auck and Mabel M Light.

Selection from obituary -
- Sarah had worked at Shelby Salesbook Company until 1966 when her family moved to Arizona. While in Arizona, she worked for, and later retired from, JC Penney in Phoenix. While in Arizona, Sarah and her family had a horse boarding stable where at one time they had over 100 boarded horses on their 40 acre farm. After the death of her husband in 1989 she returned to her family farm in Crestline to care for her parents. In the winter months, Sarah enjoyed embroidery as a hobby.
