Biography
Vida Rosamund Trenholm December 26, 1917 - August 23, 2008 Vida Rosamund Trenholm age 90 of Murray, KY, died at 1:45am Saturday at Spring Creek Health and Rehab Center in Murray.
She was born Dec. 26,1917 in Sackville,New Brunswick, to the late Fred & Lalia Tower Atkinson. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Netta Estabrooks, her brothers, Hartman Atkinson, Frederick Atkinson, Robert Weldon Atkinson, & Benjamin William Atkinson.
Ms. Trenholm is survived by her daughter, Marion Kuhar, her sons, Donald Trenholm, & George Trenholm, six grandchildren, eight great grandchildren,and her brother, Joseph Atkinson.
She was a member of First Baptist Church and the Kentucky Nursing Association. She worked for many years as a registered nurse in New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Indiana, and Kentucky. She was employed at Murray-Calloway Co. Hospital, and retired as Nursing Supervisor at West View Nursing Home,30 yrs ago.
Ms. Trenholm's body has been donated to The University of Kentucky Medical School. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
