Biography

Elizabeth "Lizzie, Kitty" Atkinson (married name McQuire) was born around 1905 in Newcastle upon Tyne, Northumberland, England, the daughter of Elizabeth Atkinson and Robert Atkinson.^[1][2]

At the time of the 1911 England Census, Lizzie was living in Hirst, Northumberland with her parents.^[3]

She married William McQuire in 1926 in Victoria, Australia.^[4]

Elizabeth died on 20 November 1980 in Caulfield South, Victoria.^[1][5] Her remains were interred at Springvale Botanical Cemetery.^[5]
