Biography

Martha Mahaley Atkins was born on January 20, 1876 in Pickens, Georgia, United States, daughter of Calvin Vandiver Atkins (1853–1939) and Sophronia Victoria Morris (1853–1929).^[1]

In 1880, Martha (4) was living in household of Calvin Atkins (27) in Townsends, Pickens with her parents, Calvin (27) and Saphrony (27); and her siblings, Thomas (6), and (5/12). ^[2]

In 1900, Martha (24) was living in household of Calvin V Adkins (53) in Town, Pickens with her parents, Calvin V (53) and Saphrona (49); and her siblings, Joseph D (19), Perry C (17), Victoria (16), George R (14), Velva R (10), Albert L (8), Lily May (5), and Doctor (3). ^[3]
