Biography

Ruby Ethel Violet Atkins (married name Kermond) was born in 1892 in St Kilda, Victoria, Australia, the daughter of Angelia Elizabeth Atkins and Thomas Atkins.^[1]

She married Edward Kermond in 1915 in Victoria.^[2] Their children were:^[3]

• Hector Thomas Kermond (1920–1998)
• Mary Kermond
• Peggy Jean Kermond (1928?–2018)

Ruby died on 9 February 1966 in Highett, Victoria, aged 74 years.^[3][4] Her remains were interred at Cheltenham New Cemetery in Cheltenham, Victoria.^[3]
