Biography

Emanuel was baptized on 1 Apr 1787. He was the son of Richard Aston and Susanna Evans^[1].

In 1851 Emanuel was 64, a Woodcutter, living in Gloucestershire, West Dean with his spouse Elizabeth Aston, 63 and their sons Henry Aston, 19 and Thomas Aston, 17, both Woodcutters. Henrietta Howel, their granddaughter, 10 lived with them. All had been born in Newland, Gloucester^[2].

In 1861 Emanuel was 75, a Woodcutter, living in Gloucestershire, West Dean, District 17 with his spouse Elizabeth, 75^[3].

Emanuel, 84, on Lane End died in Nov 1869^[4]. He was buried in Forest of Dean, Christchurch, Gloucestershire on 2 Nov 1869^[5].
