Birth

Lydia Asten was born at Methuen, Massachusetts, on 12 Aug 1765, the daughter of David Austin and his first wife, Lydia (Austin) Austin.^[1]

The name is spelled both Asten and Austin (and other variations). Her birth record uses Asten and her marriage record Astens.

Marriage

Lydia Asten married Jeremiah Stevens at Dracut, Massachusetts, on 26 Dec 1789.^[2]

Death

No record has been found of the death of Lydia (Asten) Stevens. The 1928 history of Livermore, Maine, says that Lydia Stevens, the wife of Jeremiah, died in 1834 at the age of 69.^[3]
