Elizabeth (Ashby) Howell was born in the Colony of South Australia (1836-1900)
Elizabeth Ashby was born on February 24, 1865 in Kapunda, Colony of South Australia.[1]. She was the daughter of Henry Ashby [2].
Her daughter, Rachel Ashby was born in 1881 when Elixabeth would have been 16 years old[3]. When Elizabeth Ashby married Alfred Howell (1861-1912) one assumes he adopted her as she took his name and named him as her father at the time of the marriage[4]..
Elizabeth (18) married Alfred Howell (22) (born on August 19, 1861 in Adelaide, South Australia) in 1884 in Port Adelaide, South Australia. Their daughter was Rachel Eva Ashby (~1881–1953)[5].
Elizabeth died on September 19, 1933 in Adelaide, South Australia, Australia, aged 68. She was buried in Cheltenham Cemetery, Cheltenham, Charles Sturt City, South Australia[1].
