David Asbury is a part of US Black heritage.

David Bowser Asbury was born on 22 May 1903 in Philadelphia, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, son of John Cornelius Asbury and Ida Elizabeth Bowser. He lived with his parents at 1710 Christian Street, Philadelphia.[1][2] The 1930 census lists him as single and a law student.[3] The 1940 census record lists him as a lawyer, married to Alberta, a social worker, both living with his parents.[4] The 1950 census record lists the couple living in the same house with his widowed mother.[5]

David died on 27 Mar 1956 in Philadelphia. He is buried in Eden Cemetery, Collingdale, Pennsylvania.[6]
