Ernest Luther Arrowood Jr was born on 9 February 1937 in Burke County, Nort Carolina, the son of Ernest Arrowood and Carrie Smith.^[1][2]

Ernest completed 4 years high school and Carrie completed 2 years high school. Ernest and Carrie were in the same location in 1935 and all in household were born in North Carolina. ERNEST ARROWOOD JR Mr Ernest Luther Arrowood Jr, age 61, of Jacksonville Florida and formerly of Morganton, died Saturday May 30 1998 in Florida. Memorial services will be held 11:00 am on Saturday June 13 1998 in the Colonial Chapel of Sossoman Funeral Home with Rev Doug St John officiating. Interment will follow in the National Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home following the service.

Bom February 9 1937 in Burke County, Mr Arrowood was a former employee of General Electric of Hickory. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest Arrowood Sr and Carrie Elizabeth Smith Arrowood. Surviving are two daughters, Sonya Arrowood Carpenter and Angela Arrowood Williams both of Morganton, one brother, Richard Arrowood of Morganton, one sister, Betsy Throneberg of Morganton, five grandchildren, and a number of nephews and nieces. Sossoman Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
