George Coltart Armstrong was born around 1905 in Dumfriesshire, Scotland, the son of Mary (Liddle) Armstrong and William Armstrong.
George came to Australia on the Jervis Bay in 1925.[1]
He married Phyllis Mary Elworthy in 1930 in Victoria, Australia.[2]
George died in 1979 in Heidelberg, Victoria, aged 74 years.[3]
