He gave his next of kin on embarkation as Mrs J.J. Armstrong (mother), 3 Motueka Street, Ngaio, Wellington, WW2 Unknown He was a Private in the 21st Infantry Battalion He was killed 25 May 1941 in Crete, Greece and is memorialized on the Athens Memorial, Phaleron War Cemetery, Athens, Greece and the Auckland War Memorial Museum, World War 2 Hall of Memories [3]
