Biography

James Fairbairn Armytage was born ond 5 February 1866 in Geelong, Victoria, Australia, the son of Annie (Fairbairn) Armytage and Ferdinand Felix Armytage.^[1]

He married Hester Maud Youl on 18 March 1908 in East Melbourne, Victoria.^[2][3] Their son was:

• Reginald James Armytage (1909–1989)^[4]

James died on 18 November 1924 in Geelong, aged 68 years,^[5] and was buried at the Geelong Western Public Cemetery, Geelong West.^[6]
