Robert Armiger was born in 1846 in Great Walsingham, Norfolk, England, United Kingdom.[1] He was baptized on 26 April 1846 in Great Walsingham.[1] [2]

In 1851, Robert (5), unmarried was a son, Scholar, in the household of William A Armiger (36) in Great Walsingham in Walsingham registration district in Norfolk, England. [3]

Robert (18) married Sarah Spickernell (22) (born in 1842 in Christchurch, Hampshire, England) on 6 May 1865 in New Zealand.[4] Their children were
