Reyniers Arents Van Hengel, emigrant from Hengel (Gld, Nederland) in 1653 to New Amsterdam with parents, was born in Hengelo in 1641. Reijnier Arends married Jannetje Aukes on 28 April 1666 in Hengel, Gelderland, The Netherlands. He died on 17 Sep 1721 in Flatbush, Kings County, Long Island, New York [1]
"Reynier Arents was married twice, first Annetje Hermans and second Jannetje Aukes (van Nuyse) in 1666. By Ante-nuptual agreement 28 April 1666 with Janetje Aukes it appears at that date he had but one child Aerenout living as per Flatbush records. Reynier signed his name Reynier Arents "[2]
On April 26, 1666, (about the time he remarried), Severyn "Lauwerens" and Jan Langestraet were appointed Aernout's guardians. In 1677, Aernout was a member of the Dutch church in Flatbush.[3]

Parents listed on Family Search though perhaps not correct could point in a viable direction, that being Arent Theunissen/Van Hengel 1616-1665 & Tryntie Reynders 1620-1671.
