Biography
- Francois Arbourg is on the Wall of Names at the Acadian Memorial in St. Martinville, Louisiana Plaque 8-Left Le Beaumont. Listed with him is his spouse Marie Hervory [sic] and three children: Francois Henry, Jean Louis Firmin and Frederic Edouard [1]
Francois Henri was born in 1767. He is the son of François Jérôme Arbour and Marie Henry.
In September 1784, François Jérôme and Marie were listed on a census in Nantes taken at Nantes, Loire-Atlantique, Bretagne, France of the Acadian families "who want to go to Louisiana to establish themselves at the expense of His [Spanish] Catholic Majesty," dated Sep 1784 (cited as A.D.S. Legajo 2575).[2]

- François HARBOURG, with wife Marie HENRI, 3 sons, for a total of 5 in family.
They immigrated to Louisiana in 1785. [3]
- "Francois ARBOURG/HARBOURG, age 45, a calker, traveled with his wife Marie HENRY and three sons as the 17th family (of 5 persons) aboard the ship "Le Beaumont" which embarked in France on 11 Jun 1785 and arrived in Louisiana on 19 Aug 1785. "
27 September 1790 :Marriage (with Marie Jeanne Jacqueline DAIGRE) - St. Gabriel, Iberville, LA.[4]
- "Francisco ARBOUR, son of Francisco, deceased & Maria HENRY, of Baton Rouge, married on 27 Sep 1790 to Maria Juana DAIGLE, daughter of deceased Francisco & Juanna HOLLET. Witnesses: Jean B. DUPUY; Juan Carlos TULLIER; Francisco Alexandro DAIGLE. Recorded at St. Gabriel Catholic Church, Iberville, LA (SGA-14, 15)."
