Ronald George Appleton was born on 19 September 1913, at Ashfield, New South Wales, Australia.[1] He was the son of Charles Thomas Henry Appleton (1874-1935) and Elizabeth Campbell McCredie (1884-1960).
Ronald married Katie Valentia Windeyer Capper (1917-1991) on 5 July 1940, at Ashfield, New South Wales, Australia.[2]
He passed away on 24 March 1985, at Narrabeen, New South Wales, Australia.[3]
