Ann's birth was registered in the Jan-Feb-Mar quarter of 1845 in the Tynemouth Union district.[1] She was the daughter of Thomas Appleby and Jane Comby.
In the 1851 census Ann (age 6), Scholar, was the daughter of Jane Appleby in Durham, England.[2]
Ann's marriage to Nathaniel Box was registered in the Oct-Nov-Dec quarter of 1866 in the Houghton district.[3]
In the 1881 census Ann (age 36) was the wife of Nathaniel Box in Barrington Terr, Hetton-Le-Hole, Durham, England.[4]
