Biography

Willard was born in 1862. He was the son of John W. Ansley (1831-1907) and Eleanor Dorman (1831-1912).

He married Mina "Minnie" Simpson in 1905.^[1] They had one son, Lawrence Denman Ansley (1908-1998).

He passed away in 1909.^[2][3]

Research Notes

His death was reported as Ontario NY or Yates NY... used Ontario, NY because that seemed most official (from NY death index) but marked uncertain. He had a sister, Cora Eleanor Ansley (1869-1952) who married a Willard McKelvie (1869-1944) and is mentioned as a surviving relative. FS has him married to a Florence McKelvie... this is an error, Florence was his sister's daughter.
