Biography
Bertha (Anker) Hammond was born in the Colony of Victoria (1851-1900)
Louisa Bertha Anker was born in 1874. She is the daughter of Gabriel Anker and Anna Durni. [1]
In January 1901, as Bertha Louisa Anker, she married Samuel Hammond at her father's residence in Strathbogie North, Victoria. [2][3][4]
Bertha Louisa Hammond died in 1954, age 80. Her death was registered Mooroopna, Victoria, giving Geelong as her birthplace and naming her parents as Gabriel Frederick Anker and Maria Anne, maiden name unknown. [5]
