Stephen Angell was born about 1731. He was the son of Stephen Angell and Martha (Olney) Angell. He married Hadassah "Dacie" (Sprague) Eddy aka Angell on October 21, 1750, in Smithfield, Providence, Rhode Island.
They had one daughter, Amy, born on Aug. 23, 1752. Her birth was recorded in Smithfield records in 1755, with her father named as Stephen, deceased.[1]
He passed away intestate on 13 March 1755 in Smithfield, Rhode Island. His date of death is recorded in the heading of his inventory which was taken on 31 March 1755.[2]
