Germaine Aldorina André was born in 1911 in St Raphel, Ontario. She married Albert J Tremblay in 1929, in Cornwall, Ontario. They had 12 children over 14 years. She died in 2000 in Cornwall, Ontario, at the age of 89, and was buried at Notre Dame Cemetery.

She was the daughter of Joseph André and Mary Rose Lauzon.
