Charles B. Andrews is Notable.

Charles Bartlett Andrews was an American politician and the 49th Governor of Connecticut.

Charles was born in 1831/4, the son of Erastus and Almira (Bartlett) Andrews. ^[1] He died in 1902. ^[2][3]

• Attended Franklin College, Shelburne Falls, Massachusetts
• Amherst College graduate, 1858
• Taught school and studied law in Sherman, Connecticut
• Admitted to the bar in 1861
• Partner in law, with John W. Hubbard, from 1863 through 1872
• State Senator, 1868 and 1869
• Governor of Connecticut, 1879 to 1881
• Practiced law from one year
• Appointed to the Superior Court in 1882 and served as Chief Justice from 1889 to 1901
• State Constitutional Convention delegate in 1902 ^[4]
