Biography

Margaret Andrews (married name Walpole) was born in 1861 in Stepney, Middlesex, England, the daughter of Mary Andrews (nee Russell) and Frederick Andrews.^[1][2]

She married George Albert William Walpole on 23 May 1883 in Dublin, Ireland.^[1] Their children were:^[1]

• George Stanley Walpole (1884–1943)
• Gladys Maeva Walpole (1887–1975)
• Doris Margaret Walpole (1888–1960)
• Eric Walpole (1893–?)
• Ina Margaret Walpole (1899–1899)

The Walpole family emigrated to Australia on the Ormuz in 1908.^[3]

Margaret died on 17 May 1920 at her home, "Riverscourt", Devonport, Tasmania.^[4][5]
