Biography

Mary Ann Andrews was born in Bouctouche, New Brunswick, 17 Apr 1843 (death record), possibly the daughter of Joseph Andrews and Mary "Polly" Gray (compare the 1850 Census of Machias, Maine, ^[1] and the 1861 Census of Wellington, New Brunswick, ^[2] "Hazen" Andrews in 1861 possibly being the same person as William H. Andrews in 1850). Mary Ann died of acute lobar pneumonia at Livermore, Maine, 31 Dec 1916, ae 73y 8m 14d, ^[3] and is buried in the Joseph Getchell Memorial Cemetery at Marshfield, Maine; ^{[4] [5] [6]} married at Marshfield, Maine, 15 May 1867, Gilbert L.
