Biography
Edward was the son of Edward Andrew and Jane Evans. He was baptised on 16 February 1806 in Llanarmon Dyffryn Ceiriog, Denbighshire, Wales. and entered in the parish register as: "Edward son of Edward Andrew by Jane his Wife Ty’n y fedw".[1]
He was named in the will of his grandfather, John Evans, freeholder, of Bache in the parish of Llangollen, Denbighshire. His will, dated 23 March 1814, said: " I give and bequeath unto my Grandson Edward Andrew son of my said Daughter Jane Andrew the sum of Five Pounds".[2]
