Biography
Ozide/Ozite was born in 1794. She is the daughter of Joseph Andre dit Chautin and Marie Francoise Legros. [1]
She married Chisogen Emond on 7 December 1813 before the judge of Pointe Coupee (because the church parish was without a pastor). A ceremony in the church was later performed on 5 January 1816 and recorded in Opelousas, Louisiana. [2]
