Gladys Marie was the daughter of Roger & Laura Andre, growing up in Youngstown, Mahoning, Ohio, United States[1][2]
Martin Leroy Schweitzer (age 25) married Gladys Andre (age 21) on 30 Oct 1945 in Columbiana, Ohio, United States.[3]

SEATTLE, Wash. – Gladys Marie Schweitzer, 89, of Seattle, Wash., formerly of East Palestine, died June 11 at Swedish Medical Center in Seattle.
Born Oct. 19, 1924, in Youngstown, she was the daughter of the late Roger J. and Laura (Kerr) Andre.
Mrs. Schweitzer had been employed at M&W Electrical Manufacturing Co. in East Palestine, retiring in 1986. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church of New Waterford.
She was preceded in death on June 8, 1986, by her husband, M. LeRoy Schweitzer Sr., whom she married on Oct. 30, 1924.
Survivors include a son, Martin (Karen) Schweitzer; a daughter, Sheryl (Richard) Miller of Seattle; a sister, Jane Hulton of New Waterford; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.[7]

A celebration of her life will be held at 11 a.m. Aug. 30 at Zion Lutheran Church, with Pastor William Wilkins officiating. Burial will be in New Waterford Cemetery.
