In 1920, Jimmie (8) was living in Watts, Los Angeles with his father, Patrick (45); and Addie Anderson (34), Benjamin Anderson (14), Harvey Anderson (13), James Anderson (7), Joseph Anderson (6), Jewel Anderson (4), and Vernon Anderson (2).[2]
In the 1930 census James (age 18) was the single stepson of Wiley Haywood in Tucson, Pima, Arizona, United States.[3]
Jimmie (23) married Flora Sanders (24) (born on 29 Dec 1910 in Oklahoma, United States; daughter of William Saunders and Myrtle B (Hughes) Minnard) on 28 Jun 1935 in Los Angeles.
In the 1940 census James (age 28) was the divorced lodger of Cuney Pollard in Los Angeles, Los Angeles, California, United States.[4]
James served in the US Navy from 1950 to 1955.[5]
Jimmie died on 8 Apr 1988 in Pima, Arizona, United States, aged 76.[6][5]
