Biography
William Anderson was born 4 August 1899 at Ballygruby, to James Anderson and Eleanor Mary nee Hagan. James was a farmer and he registered the birth on 6 September 1899 at Moneymore, Magherafelt, County Londonderry. He was their second son.
William and his wife known as Lizzie came out to Australia for a time to join his brothers James and Thomas in Victoria. Their first son was born at Hay in New South Wales, Australia in 1927 and their first daughter was born in 1931 at Griffith in New South Wales. They returned to Northern Ireland and their second daughter was born in 1933 at Killycolp, Cookstown, Northern Ireland. William Anderson was a farmer all his life.

My husband and I met his Uncle William in 1981 on our first trip to Northern Ireland to meet all the family which was a most enjoyable visit. Sadly Lizzie was no longer alive. All the Uncles and Aunts that we met then are also no longer with us. Bless them all for their warm hospitality.
