I have been researching my family tree since 2013. I am currently on MyHeritage, but I'm not sure the information I have gotten is correct, mostly because it is from other people and its hard to verify the sources. I am looking forward to working with others who care about doing it right.
My areas of interest include the following surnames: Anderson/Andreason, Ellingson, Solberg, Badman, Corsett, Polhamus, Petermeier, Boeke, Hodges, and Kirby.
And the following locations: Wincombe, Somerset, UK; Solberg and Aamodt farms in Norway; Jamtland Sweden; and the states of WI, IA, NY, IL.
Both of my family lines ended up in WI, in the counties of Dunn, Chippewa, and Eau Claire.

I havent heard back from you about the break up of the United Kingdom Project. I hope all is well with you. I assume you dont wish to join any of the country-level projects at present, and will go ahead and remove the United Kingdom badge. If you wish to join England, Scotland, Wales or Ireland in the future, you would be most welcome to do so via the respective G2G sign-up post.
Many thanks for all your contributions,
Susie :-)
We realise the time has come to dissolve the UK Project in favour of the individual country projects of England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland.
We are checking in with all UK badge holders to find out which country project(s) you would like to be in so you can collaborate with other members, have the opportunity to select which team(s) you would like to join, and so we can ensure you have all the correct badges.
Please respond by PM to let us know which country project(s) you would like to be in. Please dont assume we know. We are effectively starting from scratch to make sure no one falls through the cracks.
Once you have done this, the Coordinator for Membership in the relevant country project(s) will be in touch to help get you situated.
Many thanks,
Susie
Your work is appreciated.
Thanks

As you have been a member of WikiTree for about a week now I thought I would check in to see how you are getting on with the site. Has theNew Member How-To been helpful or left you with any questions? I am here to help with any problems or queries you may have. Just click my name, then ask in the comment section of my page or send me a private message. Sometimes links don't work in emails. If that's happened to you, check the public comments on your profile. The links will work from there. Lynn ~ WikiTree Messenger
Thanks for volunteering! You are now a full member of the WikiTree community, and can start adding your family. Let me know if you have any questions.
Since WikiTree is different from other genealogy sites, we have a guided tour for new members at New Member How-To. Feel free to work through the How-Tos at your own pace.
Great to have you on board, enjoy, and good luck growing your branches.
Ludwig :)
