Biography

Hilda or Hulda Marie Anders was born in February 1912 southeast of Leroy, Saskatchewan. She was the daughter of Samuel Anders and Olga Elke. She married Kenneth Campbell "Red" Sharp on 8 February 1935 in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. They lived in Wynyard for twenty-five years while Ken worked for the C.P.R. They had one daughter, Darlene. They lived in various places during retirement. Ken died in 1976. Hilda passed away in Duncan, British Columbia in February 1996. She was buried in Mountain View Cemetery in Lethbridge, Alberta near her husband.
