Biography

Millie was born in 1888 in Collingwood, Victoria.^[1] She is the daughter of Thomas Amsden and Mary Stichling.

She had 10 siblings - George Thomas Amsden, Mary Amsden, Lily Elizabeth, May Amsden, Sarah Emily Amsden, Margaret Elizabeth Amsden, Thomas Amsden, Daisy Amsden, William James Amsden and Myrtle Amsden

She married Edgar Henry Clark in 1920.^{[2][3][4][5][6]}They were both 31 at the time of their marriage.

She and Ed had 2 children:

• Bruce Lee Clark - born in 1922 in Fairfield.
• Gwenneth Lucy Clark - born in 1926 in Glen Iris.

On her marriage certificate, her occupation was shown as Tailoress.

She passed away in 1960. She is buried at Woden Cemetery, 1 Justinian Street, Canberra, Australian Capital Territory, Australia. ^[7][8][9]
