Vincenzo Michael Amodeo (1904 - abt. 1985)

Biography

Vincenzo Amodeo, the son of Michael and Salvatora Amodeo, was born on 23 June 1904 in Chicago, Cook^[1], Illlinois. Both parents were born in Italy.^[2][3].

Vincent's parents had moved to York County, Toronto, Ontario, Canada, by 5 Nov 1905, when they had a son, Francisco. The family lived at 318 Queen St. W., and father "Michele" worked as a fruiterer.^[4] They had another son, Cosimo, in York County on 2 May 1908, when the family lived at 4 Beverly St.^[5]

Vincent Amodeo, 21 years old and of Kingston, and Rose Cirivillo, 21 of Toronto, were married by banns on 27 June 1927 in Toronto, Ontario.^[6][3]

In 1963, he was living in Kingston and working as a shipper. ^[7] By 1968, he was semi-retired according to the voter's information.^[8]

He passed away about 1985 and is buried at Saint Mary's Roman Catholic Cemetery, Kingston, Frontenac County, Ontario, Canada.^[9] His gravestone^[10] reads:
