Alf was the son of Alrek Agnisson and Dageid, daughter of king Dag the Great. Alf and his brother Yngve took over the reign of Svitjod after their father Alrek Agnisson. Yngve was very popular and outgoing while Alf rather sat at home. His wife was Bera, a very noble, beautiful and cheerful woman.
Yngve came to Uppsala one autumn after a reid. He often sat up late, drinking. Alf went to bed early but his wife stayed up talking to her brother-in-law. Alf did not like this and asked her to come to bed earlier. She replied that any woman would consider herself lucky to be married to Yngve and not to Alf.
One evening when the brothers had been drinking Alf ran his sword through Yngve. The brother drew his blade and gave Alf a fatal blow where after they both fell dead to the floor.
Questionable Lineage -The sources do not agree of the lineage of the Swedish kings around this time. Therefore removing the succession box.
A > Alriksson | A > Alreksson > Alf (Alriksson) Alreksson
