The family came to New Zealand in 1850 aboard the Cressy, settling at Lyttelton.
On 29 December 1863 at the Wesleyan Church of Lyttelton, she married William Gibbons. [1] [2]
She kept a small fruiterer's shop in Lyttelton. She passed away overnight 22 January 1894 due to a heart attack. [3] [4]
