Thomas Henry ALLUM was born in 1848 in Acton, Middlesex, England^[1]. His parents were William ALLUM and Mary Ann SHARP.

1851, 2 year old Thomas was living in Acton, Middlesex, England with his uncle, Thomas (28, Hostler At Vistoria Fun), aunt Susannah (26), cousins, John (3) and Henry Percival (1), parents, William (37) and Mary (24) and brother, William (1) ^[2].

The barque, Apolline set sail from London, England via Plymouth on 24 Jul 1852 with the ALLUM family among it's assisted immigrant passengers and arrived in Melbourne, Colony of New South Wales on 23 Oct 1852^[3][4]. The family consisted of parents William (age 39, a farm servant) and Mary Ann (24) and their 2 sons, Thomas (3) and William (2).
