Biography
Edward William Allison was born about 1833, the son of Mary (Davis) Allison and Thomas Allison.
He was a carpenter by trade and in 1853 commenced business in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia as an undertaker.[1]
He married Ann Brightwell in 1855 in Victoria.[2] Their daughter was:
- Mary Louisa Allison (1858–1937)[3]
Ann died in 1881.[4]
Edward remarried in 1883 in Victoria, Australia, to Elizabeth Brazier.[5]
Edward died in 1887 in Carlton, Victoria, aged 54 years.[6]
