Biography

Charles Bakerville was born 12 Feb 1838 in Campbell Town, Tasmania, Australia. He was the son of Francis and Susannah Allison. ^[1]

Married Ellen Georgiana Drew, 30 Sep 1858, at Launceston, Tasmania.^[2] Emigrated to Auckland where he worked as a teacher.

Known as Charles Bede Andrew and his wife Ellen Georgiana Andrew, aka Cecilia Andrew.

His three daughters, Mabel, Rose and Violet were involved in the theatre.

The family (by now five daughters and three sons) moved to Sydney early in 1893

Charles passed away on 4 October 1893 in New South Wales, Australia ^[3]

He was buried in Rookwood Cemetery Zone B Section RRR Grave 1329 in Rookwood, New South Wales, Australia.^{[4] [5]}
