Biography
When David A Allison was born on July 16, 1833, in Arkansas City, Arkansas, his father, John David Allison, was 27 and his mother, Margaret "Peggy" Cox, was 21. He married Ann Ford in 1851. They had four children during their marriage. He was a Confederate soldier, killed on November 5, 1863, at Lookout Mountain, Tennessee, at the age of 30.
