My sister Donna was born in Washington DC on November 26th 1957. She had an amazing personal journey in this life. She died after a 2 year battle with cancer at age 59 with all of us there in Tallahassee on January 29th 2017. My wife and I cremated her in Lake City, Florida a bit afterward. She lived most of her adult life in Miami, Florida. She and her husband moved to Tallahassee to escape the hurricanes. Hilarious. Tally was hit quick after their arrival. Her ashes were spread by various members of the family to her favorite places, the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia where my family and I took her, Sedona, Arizona and somewhere in Northern California. She was a nurse and holistic practitioner. We all spent alot of time with her while she was dying. Her husband, Ed, took the greatest care of her during her passing. I forever hold him in high regard for that. She never complained once nor did I see her cry. Her spirit was indomitable. She died with her mouth and eyes wide open.
