Biography

Alice was born in 1882. She was the daughter of William Alfred Alley and Thirza Stalley. ^[1]

She married George William Horrix Holdernesse 28 Jan 1899 at New Church, Adelaide, South Australia. ^[2]

HOLDERNESSE ALLEY. At the New Church, Hanson-street, by the Rev. J. J. Darwin, George William Horrix, eldest son of G. W. Holdernesse, to Alice, second eldest daughter of W. A. Alley, both of Belair. ^[3]

She passed away age 53 in 1936 ^[4] and was buried in Mitcham General Cemetery. ^[5]

HOLDERNESSE. On January 18, at Adelaide, Alice, the dearly beloved wife of George W. C. Holdernesse, of Eden, and loving mother of George, May, Cliff, Evarron, Arthur, Tom, Beatrice, and Mena, aged 53 years. Resting. ^[6]
