Biography

Henry was born in 1881. He is the son of Henry Allen and Elizabeth Word. ^[1]

H. T. Allen, familiarly known as Tommie Allen, died Friday, 16th. He was the son of Mr. H. Y. Allen and was 36 years old. He leaves a wife and child two years old. The passing of this young man had many pathetic features. He had been years afflicted with asthma, suffering intensely at times, but made a brave fight for life. He had bought a farm and was making his best effort to pay for it. Just before he died he said he wanted to live to take care of his wife and baby. But it was not to be. An attack of measles and the asthma combined proved too much for the frail constitution. Tommie Allen was of a lovable disposition; all who knew him respected and admired him for his sterling qualities.
