Biography
Climmie (Allen) Kirkpatrick is a part of US Black heritage.
Climmie was born April 11, 1902,[1] probably in Linden, Cass, Texas, United States. Her father may have been Charlie Allen and her mother was Caroline (Perkins) Warren.
In 1910, Climmie (shown as Clemie, age 8) and her brother Needham (shown as Nedhum, age 10) lived in Cass County, Texas, United States with their step-grandfather Heck Givens (shown as Hick, age 78), grandmother Ebie Givens (shown as Ivy, age 54), and uncle John Steger (age 23). Needham and their grandfather were farm laborers and John was a farmer.[2]
Climmie married BT Kirkpatrick[citation needed] before 1940.
In 1940, BT (age 35) and Climmie (shown as Clemie, age 38) lived at 1951 Alston Street in Shreveport, Caddo, Louisiana, United States. BT was a minister in the Church of God.[3]
Climmie retired April 23, 1965.[4]
Climmie lived in Shreveport, Caddo, Louisiana, United States when she died June 19, 1993.[5]
