Biography
Clarence Walter Allen was born on 17th August 1867 in Longford, Tasmania (Australia). He was the son of Canadian-born Charles Allen and Van Dieman's Land-born Mary Ann Hodgetts. [1]
Clarence married Ruby Robertson in 1914 in Victoria. [2] Together, they had at least five children, initially living in Ballarat, and then Horsham and Stawell.
Aged 93 years, he passed away on 5th July 1961 in Ballarat. [3]
