Martha Pyle was enumerated as wife at District 1248, Fayette County, Georgia for the June 17, United States Census, 1880. She was noted as keeping house, born 1836 in Georgia and married as seen in this image of the original census. Also included in the household are self James M Pyle, daughter Roetta Pyle, daughter Matildl Pyle, daughter Francis Pyle, son Samuel Pyle, daughter Polina Pyle, son Lorenzo Pyle and daughter Lilla Pyle.^[1]

Marth P Pyle was enumerated as wife of the head of household at Sulphur, Miller County, Arkansas for the April 20, United States Census, 1910. She was noted as born 1836 in Georgia and had been married fifty-three years. She was the mother of eight children of which all were still living as seen in the image of the original census. Also included in the household are head Jeanes M Pyle, daughter Liller I Pyle and grandson J D Thompson.^[2]
